Study: Most Large Truck Crashes Caused by Driver Error
In 2007, large truck crashes were responsible for 134 deaths and 1,493 injuries in Alabama. Unfortunately, most of these accidents could have been prevented. According to a study conducted by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the critical factor that causes the majority of large truck crashes is driver negligence.
